The first hole sees a gradual dogleg right par 5 with trouble either side of the fairway, gorse bushes on the left and water on the right. Well-positioned bunkers await your second shot, and the elevated two-tier green is guarded by a front left and right bunker.
The opening hole must not be underestimated, water on the right, gorse bushes on the left. A long straight tee shot is required. Longer hitters can attack in two, while shorter hitters lay up avoiding the right fairway bunker. The green is well protected by two front bunkers with the green sloping right to left. Be cautious when playing a tucked right pin position.
